My name is John Earley, and I’m a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in journalism. I’m also pursuing certificates (minors) in sports communication and entrepreneurship.
In the fantasy world, I’m a breaking news writer at RotoWire, a leading provider of fantasy sports news to sites such as ESPN, Yahoo!, CBS, DraftKings and FanDuel. I write player updates across a number of sports leagues, though I work primary in the college football and college basketball departments.
I also manage and create content for RotoUnderworld’s (and PlayerProfiler.com’s) TikTok account (@underworldfm) using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and add effects to videos.
In addition to running RotoUnderworld’s TikTok account, I have my own TikTok channel (@fantasyformula), where I declare my own takes.
I’m a lousy DFS player, but season-long and dynasty formats are my specialty, where I’ve gained an edge working with RotoWire’s college football department to better project rookie prospects. With the sports betting and fantasy industry set to explode upon national legalization, I hope to find full-time work somewhere in the field.
